all the “beginning” stuff happened in the fall of Albus’ fifth year, and frankly, we haven’t finished writing it yet. we started playing them together in a livejournal community, but sarah left it and therefore no longer has access to the threads we wrote there, and we decided we’d be better off rewriting it anyway because we have a better grasp of their characters now. so that’s why that’s happening.

the spring was basically… a few of their family members found out here and there, whether they told them or whether they were ~discovered, and eventually albus came out to everybody and it was sunshine and rainbows and the magazines were all over that shit.

anyway.

sarah left that community in the summer, so that’s when we started doing our own threads in their journals. we think the only background information you’ll need is that 1. Albus got a job at Flourish & Blott’s and 2. after they get busted at Oliver’s house, their parents insist they start using ~protection but it doesn’t go well and it’s really uncomfortable for Oliver so he gets really uncomfortable with sex at all. There’s a couple of posts about that but it doesn’t make any sense unless you know that they tried and failed to use condoms with and without lube and it was just ick.
